When I want a complete distraction from reality I always look for a Jess Franco movie. Today its The Devil Came from Akasava (1971).  This crazy German/Spanish James Bond rip-off features the hypnotic Soledad Miranda playing an undercover agent in the disguise of an exotic dancer.  A radioactive “energy stone” is discovered on a tropical island which can turn metal to gold or humans into zombies. When the stone is stolen, secret agents are sent in to get it back.  Dig the ultra groovy musical score full of fuzz guitar, electric sitar and harpsichord.

I am a Librarian. To be honest, I wouldn't want to do anything else. I have a strong background in architecture, computer technology, English literature, Internet applications, web site design, film studies and modern art. I would like to use this page to express my personal musings and experiences on news, pop culture, nature, art, science, technology and what ever becomes a curiosity.
